Wednesday:
I am finishing up dragon slippers. She still doesn't have her slippers, and she is really wanting to go to the Merchant's Ball to get her own money and her own place. She keeps getting called on by Prince Luka and all the girls in the store are teasing her about it. :) She then finds out about one of the girls that took her slippers away and gave them to the future queen has been keeping contact with her and knows about her dragon friend. She knows he's in trouble and is going to try and help him.

Week 3 Reading Blog
I am still reading Dragon Slippers. It has gotten a lot better and I am enjoying it. :) She is still making dresses like crazy and is trying to find time to get them all done. She then is making the dresses when the prince comes to pay her a visit, and she tells him all about how the "future" queen has stolen her slippers and given her a tacky dress in replace. She is determined to fix the dress up on her own time and go to the ball and get the money she needs for her own shop. :)

Week 3 Reading Blog
Monday:
I am still reading Dragon Slippers and it's not what i expected it to be. I was hoping that it would be a lot better and would have been much better by this point. It is an okay book, but i wouldn't recommend it to everyone. She is still trying to have to keep up with business and is falling behind, but she is getting money. The "princess" still wants her shoes and has tried numeral times to rip them off her feet, but her nanny has stepped in every time. :)

Week 2 Reading Blog
Thursday:
I am still reading Dragon Slippers and It has steadily gotten better. She has seen the dragon once since she has gotten in town, but right when he goes to tell her why she is having trouble with her slippers, he has to leave because it is daylight and other will see him... She never has found out what is so special about her slippers and why they are making her feet itch. Her friend put them on and fainted. She is still trying to figure out everything...

I am still reading Dragon Slippers. it has gotten a little better and now she has made a really rich lady her own dress. she has come up with her own colors and her own designs, which no one would dare do... The lady loved the dress and people have been hounding her for their own. She is now having all of these different orders and is overwhelmed. Her boss has gotten as many other to help with her dresses as possible. She still hasn't even made her own pink work dress...

Week 9: Reading Blog
Friday:
I am now reading Dragon Slippers and it seems really good. So far the girls aunt wanted to give her to a dragon so that a prince would find out and come and save her, because then, their farm would be saved. She goes to the dragons cave and he doesn't want her at first, but then he takes her and helps her out until she is done and goes down to the Kings castle. She meets the prince on the way, and then another dragon...

Week 7 Literature Blog (3-3-11)
Thursday:
I still don't have a book, but I am really wanting to read Pride and Prejudice. I heard it is a really good book, and I want to actually read the book. I have seen the movie, but the books are always better! I am trying to see how many points and if I am allowed to read it. :) I hope I can. I really am planning on reading it. I like the classic books and I seem t enjoy them more than others. :)

Literature Blog: Week 6. (2-15-11)
Tuesday:
I currently have no book to read. I am still looking for a book. I took the test on Beastly and i got all the questions right! :) I only have half of my points done, but I am hoping to have met my goal with this next book. :) Instead of reading fiction novels, I have been reading "He Came to Set the Captives Free" By Rebecca Brown. I have already read it once, but I decided to look back over it in my spare time. It is a really good book and I would recomend it to anyone! :) Hopefully I can find a good book either tomorrow or the next day.

Week 5.2 Reading BLog (2-11-11)
Friday:
I dont have a book to read right now. But i am in the prosses of getting a new one. I took the test on Beastly and I got all the questions rite. :) I am thinking about reading "North of Beautiful" but I'm still thinking. I only have a little more than half of my points of Ar. I am planning on finding a new book next week. :) After this week I will start on a new book and I hope I will like it.

I have finished readingBeastly. It was ojne of the best books I have read, but the ending was really sucky. I wished they would have done a better ending. It ended where he was chasing all around for her because she was in trouble. He went through the crowds of people and was getting attacked because he was still a beast. They even called the cops and he was almost not going to make it to her, but he finally got away from them and went after her. When he finally found her, he saved her but was shot. She kissed him and he turned back into a regular person and then they lived in his own house instead of living with his father. :) Magda was Kendra and She turned into a crow and went with her family of crows. :0

I am still reading Beastly. I am almost finished with it! She went home for the we=inter to see her father because he was in trouble. Adrian didn't want her to go because he felt like he wouldn't get her back. She never came back. He stayed up and watched her sleep at night and wondered if she was dreaming of him. He really missed her and wanted her to come back. She was living in an even worse place and going to a horrible school now and he knew it was his own fault for taking her out of Tuttle so quickly.

Week 4 Reading Blog (2-6-11)
Thursday:
I am still reading Beastly and I really am enjoying it! :) She has come to every lesson and she is being alot nicer! He thinks she likes him. She really likes Will and Will is giving Adrian advise on what to do to get her! There was a storm one night and Adrian went downstairs and was watching a movie. She came down to and they popped popcorn and ate. She fell asleep and he carried her back up to her room, where she woke up and said goodnight. :) he wanted to kiss her on her forhead but he didn't. He really likes her but doesn't want to scare her. :)

Week 4 Reading Blog (2-1-11)

I am still reading Beastly. I absolutly love this book. Adrian was sitting downstairs when he heard her coming down. She hadn't been out of the room the entire time. They actually talked and she seemed sorry for him. She didn't believe her dad when he said he was a beast. She said she would come down the following day for a lesson with Will and himself. He couln't wait and when she did come, she forgot her book so they shared his. :) SHe said she would be back the next morning. :)

Week 3 Lit. Blog (1-25-11)

I am currently reading Beastly. I love this book. He has already been turned into a beast and has given up all hope to trying to change. He has tried many things, but has not found his true love! :( he doesnt even live. All he does is go and look at the flowers all day. He is so much nicer and sweeter now that he is a beast. He went to a party and found a really nice girl on Holloween night, but ended up braking her arm. He never saw her again. :(

Week 3 Lit. Blog (1-24-11)
Monday: I have finished reading Where the Red Fern Grows and it was one of the sadest books I have read in a long time. I cried for the last 2 1/2 chapters... It was a sad book but it was pretty good. :) Billy was about o get attacked by a mountain lion, but even though his dogs were hurt very badly, they faught and they were able to hold the lion down while Billy drove his ax into its back. Old Dan would not let go of the lion. Old Dan soon died after Billy got him home. In the matter of a couple of days, Little Ann gave up her will to live and drug herself up to Old Dan's grave and died with her head on it. Billy saw that there was a red fern that grew when he went to say by to his dogs before heading out o town forever... :( sad story rite?!?! :)

Week 3 Lit. Blog (1-23-11)
Friday:
I am still reading Where the Red Fern Grows and i really like it. I have like 1 more chapter left and the dogs treed a mountain lion and Old dan got really beat up and is torn apart and Little Ann isn't as bad, but it still pretty beat up. The dogs saved Billy's life and he is suprised by it. Old Dan wouldn't give up, even when the mountain lion was practicly dead. Billy had to slam his ax into it's back in order to save his dogs. Billy used a mixture of his dogs bloog and mud to try and hold the gashed closed.

His grandfather sprained his foot really bad helping him find his dogs. They found them and they were smart to know that if they stopped trotting around the tree, they would have died. Billy was pleased with his dogs and Little Ann won the beauty contest.

Week 2 Reading Blog (1-18-11)
Tuesday:
I am reading Where the Red Fern Grows and it is a very well written book. I ahve finished the Athens book and it left me disapointed. It never told you the end, you had to figure it out for yourself. But I am enjoying Where the Red Fern Groes. So far, he got the dogs, trained them, went coon hunting several times and his dogs have gotten hurt many times but they always get better and are very smart dogs. Billy takes the bet and while doing that one of the brothers falls on the axe and dies. Billy feels very sorry but then gets over it once he says his good-byes at the grave... :(
